Alicia: I'm 31 years old and a complete failure as a woman. Or so I tell myself every month when I get my period. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for well over a year now. I'm at the point where writing about my experiences offers the promise of catharsis. If it doesn't help, screw it.
